It Depends on the size, location and type of dent/damage but usually most dents can be removed while the customer waits. Individual dings can be removed within the hour depending on their size, shape, depth and location. No, we can remove dings and dents from all panels including the car's roof, boot, bonnet, quarter panel, as well as the fender.

I have a dent in my door will you have to strip the door out?

Nearly always no, we can even sometimes fabricate a tool to fit into a tight spot through the window appature but if we do have to strip the door then rest assured this is an extremely easy operation for a professional and there are no risks involved.

What is PDR?

PDR stands for Paintless Dent Repair (or Paintless Dent Removal). This is a method of removing dents and dings without affecting the paint. This is done by very patiently massaging the dent from the back side of the panel. Sometimes it can be repaired from the front side using specialized tools. The most important benefit of PDR is quality. When complete, this repair method is the closest one can get to the dent never happening in the first place. No grinding, bonding, fillers or primers are needed because your factory paint is not disturbed. Unlike conventional body work, there is no worry about paint shrinkage or problems with filler months after the repair.

Will my dents be completely gone?

On minor dents and in most cases yes. The deeper the dent is, the more difficult it is to repair. On larger dents most people are amazed at what we can repair and the results after the repair has been completed. Before we start any repair, we will explain to you in detail what your car will look after the repair is completed.

Will my dents come back?

Absolutely not! Once a dent has been removed using PDR, it never comes back. Most dents repaired conventionally develop a ring around the dent or sand scratch marks 3 - 6 months after the repair. This is never the case with PDR.

Can ALL dents be fixed?

No. The most important factors in determining if a dent can be repaired by PDR are depth and location. Dents the size of a dinner plate or larger can be fixed successfully as long as they are not too deep or twisted. On the other hand, some dents that are as small as a dime, but very deep, cannot be fixed using PDR because the metal is too stretched. Cracked paint can also be an indication that a dent is too deep. The most common dents fixed are the size of a golf ball and under. 95% of minor dents can be repaired. About 5% of minor dents can't be fixed due to depth or location. Areas such as some quarter panel opening lips, some forward areas of heavily braced hoods, or the very edges of some panels are examples of bad locations.

Can dent removal help me sell my car?

Ever hear the saying "Image is everything"? Most people judge a car by its appearance. If it looks good, they assume it has been well taken care of. Used car dealers and wholesalers know this. Car garages have been using dent removal for years to ensure the value of the car reaches its full potential. They also know what they spend on PDR will make them many times over what they spend which will help them sell the car quicker. If you're selling your car PDR is one of the best ways to get top price, more interested buyers and a quicker sale.
